Ive been looking at a used trap / skeet gun and know a guy selling a sa3. I haven't been able to find much info on them and there are few for sale on line. What's your take on sig arms and the sa3? The gun is very clean. Gently used 7 choke tubes and the takedown case. What's it worth? Thanks for any help.

The SIG was made by one of the Italian Rizzini's; not sure if it was B. Rizzini, I. Rizzini, or Fratelli Rizzini (Rizzini Brothers). The ones I've examined felt nice, but I never actually shot one. They were heavily-discounted when dropped by SIG. I haven't payed attention to prices since they were on sale thru CDNN several years ago. If I was really serious about putting rounds thru a skeet or trap gun, I'd look for a used Berreta 680 series or a Browning Citori.

The price and looks of this gun are attractive. I was just trying to gauge actual value but I guess value is all in what someone is willing to pay
