I live in Germany and own a Remington 878 automaster. Its one of my best shotguns, but the action spring is a little weak, I need a new one. I could buy one at Numrich gunparts, but they dont deliver to Europe. Can you help me? I dont like to bury the 878 in my safe.

I think I have the spring from a M-58 in my parts box. The designs were similar but I'm not sure if the spring will interchange. I would be happy to send it, if you think it will work.

Thank you for your help. I spoke with my gunsmith about the problem, and we think, that the springs are identical because Remington tried to keep production costs low. The length is 7.0 inches, the outside diameter is 3/4 inch. How can we contact us?

Check Wolf Gunsprings. They do not show it on their website, but springs are all they do. An email to them might be helpful.
