I am seriously looking at purchasing a Beretta 471 20GA with 26" barrels, and single trigger. It has an straight stock, comes with all the choke tubes and hard case. It is in very good condition and in fact I have shot some birds with it. Can anyone give me a range of dollar values for this used model?
If condition is truly very good, I would say the gun is worth about $2200. Were it excellent, it would go $2700. If barrels were longer, add another $200. Short barrels are a tougher sell these days.

I sold a 20 gauge 470 (which brings a bit more than a 471), 28" barrels, excellent condition for $2800 a couple years ago. And it wasn't on the marketveey long at that.
Thanks. He is asking $2000 and while I would like 28" barrels, I can make it work in the Grouse woods.
If it's in good shape that's a fair price. I had the same
gun and traded it off a few years back. Siince
there was a trade involved, I can't pin down the price I got for it, but that $2000 would be close.
