Several years ago I was given this shotgun. It is a 12ga with chokes. I am not a shotgun person and it needs to go down the road. I've shot less than a box of ammo through it.
I have not a clue as to value. Can you help me with this? Thanks
I saw one online for $375, but I don't know anything about them. Does it say where it was made on the barrel or receiver?

It says made in Japan.
They are made by Howa

I do not think that is correct. The HOWA semi-auto shotguns are quite different internally from the Weatherby.

I may be wrong, but I believe Nikko and KTG made them, in Japan, of course. The model number 82 was not around very long at all and IIRC it was just a name change in 1982 and they were not even made for five years after the change. They were cheap but not prone to trouble.

I sold one here about four or five years ago, but I do not remember what it sold for.
Mine went down the road for $375.
