All,

What years were these two Belgian Browning A-5 Light 20s made? The last two digits are X’d out.

One is 7Z 153XX. The other is 0Z 447XX

Thank you,

RAS

👍
Wish I could find a reasonably priced Browning A5 light twenty gauge.

In all honesty, all A5 20 gauges that aren't the Magnum model are Light 20s. Only the last few years of the Belgium guns where marked so. They all have the lightening milling done on the inside of the receiver and the lightening hole drilled in the magazine mounting ring on the bottom of the barrel and also the gold trigger if it hasn't already been polished off from use. The last ones marked Light Twenty have more collector interest, but same shotgun other than the markings.

I like their looks too. They seem to run 10 to 12 hundred though, at the bottom end. For that amount I would be tempted to get a low end Ithaca 28 from Sandusky.

What's a 20 ga 3" mag Belgian worth these days in very good condition? Modified--improved fixed choke.
