I have things for sale and the owners told me to put it in the hunters campfire forum.
but honestly, odds are youll get more people here to see it, that at least know what a K80 is.
sgw may be the best bet.

Agreed, that’s why I just put a quick post here.

TrapShooters.com
Skeet gun, but it makes little difference....you can probably find a buyer for bananas on Trapshooters....

No TS for me!!

I’ll Probly send it off to the guys at Pacific Sporting East. The amount of high end stuff they sell is staggering.

To each their own...However, a hunting Bud has bought a couple nice Perazzi's, a couple Ungartechia's and found me a really nice K-80 on trapshooters....

He checks it for guns on an almost daily basis....seems like a good place to buy, but not so much to sell.....
Posted By: passport Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/16/20
I agree it’s a good place to buy but the mods are so out of hand they will ban you if they don’t like your post. Too many little girls in charge over there for me. I really think the whole thing is run at a girls middle school.
Posted By: battue Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/16/20
If they have what I’m looking for or someone wants to buy what I have to sell, I could care less about how they moderate the place...unless you want to be part of their fraternity, it’s nothing more than a place for buyers and sellers to come together. If I’m a seller, and I’m looking for a buyer....being a friend isn’t a requirement.

no...its a website where dealers and advertisers took over the site, by not allowing others to share the space, leaving individuals the scraps...if you can call it that. individual members only allowed one for sale ad? lunacy.
dealers want the pot. the whole pot. sure, they pay for space, but they are in business. the members just want to get rid of their stuff...but cant. nothing fair about that. im sorry if I have more good deals than some dealers. its just the way it goes.
the internet has turned into a money grab by the big guys.
thank GOD for places like this that are still left.
ts is the ban capital of the world. im currently banned because members from the Midwest didn't like me cautioning them not to be too quick to send their kids to state shoots because the Midwest hadn't peaked yet with this virus.
poof, I was gone for spreading fear.
fine...at least I did my part to inform them trap wasn't worth dieing for...or even worse, sending their kids out into danger. let it be on file...I warned them there. hope nothing happens to those kids depending on ignorant parents.

Perhaps you should consider trading it towards a Blaser F3. I traded my Perazzi MX 2000S towards an F3 and never looked back. I think you will find the F3 a lighter, livlier gun that is a joy to shoot, plus being easy and inexpensive to maintain.

I have had 2 of them and the Kreighoff, and Kolar, is way more gun. A good buddy of mine shot for them for years. They are a good gun but always felt kinda cheap to me.
Posted By: battue Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
The Blaser is a good shotgun with a great trigger. They were big for awhile and then for whatever reason their popularity started to fall. You practically have to give used ones away. Currently they are a bargain on the used market..

Beretta, Krieghoff, Browning, Kolar and Perazzi mostly dominate the competition shotgun market...the Keman’s, Renata Gamba, Zoli and Blasers-all better than good shotguns-periodically kick on the door, but none have done much more.
Posted By: passport Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
Zoli, that’s the sleeper deal. Most underrated gun on the market today.
Posted By: battue Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
Prediction: Zoli will die on the vine...Friend has one and it has been back and forth for repairs numerous times..their savior may be Norbert, one of the finest shotgun smiths on the planet..he keeps redesigning the faults.
Posted By: passport Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
Idk. They don’t give there guns to the top guys so no one is winning with them and that hurts. We have several at my club and none, that I’m aware of, have been back for service. If the grip fit me better I would try one. The ones I have shot seem real nice, no recoil.
Posted By: battue Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
Brad Kidd and a few other not as well known are given incentives to shot them.

Admittedly, the acquaintance I know is only a sample of one....however the stock cracked, some trigger issues with his release and something else with the barrel..

From what I’ve seen their customer service is great....and as mentioned Norbert, who plays a larger role in the company than just their resident Smith is a shotgun genius. He knows the insides workings of the best of the best..

If I remember correctly, Norbert was associated with Alamo, a Krieghoff distributor ~12 years ago. He is a great guy to have working on your shotgun. I bought my first K gun from Alamo when he was there.
Posted By: battue Re: Selling a K-80 - 05/19/20
If this does that and that does this, and the two of them are responsible for something going up which causes this to repeat the sequence, Norbert can see it with a quick look.

Few can take a K-gun apart and most likely put it back together so all is in harmony the first time. Norbert is one of them.
