Vortex Razor LHT HD HSR-5i 3-15X42 - 07/10/20
I've been looking at this optic and it checks a lot of the boxes I like. The pluses it has are middle of my budget, zero stop, capped windage, simple reticle, and the weight isn't unreasonable. Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this optic?
The other two optics I'm really considering are a used SS 3-15X42 MQ, or a Leupold Mark 5 HD 3.6-18X44 TMR, opposite ends of the budget spectrum obviously and about as heavy of an optic I want to add to my new rifle. I'm mounting it on a Savage 6mm Creedmoor that right now without rings and scope is weighing almost 8 lbs suppressed. I'd like to stay 10 lbs or less by the time I add an optic and rings.
