MK Machining is now making custom front flip-ups for spotters. I bought a couple for my swaro 65 and 80.
https://www.mkmachining.com/product-category/scope-caps-ards/Tyler can help you out.....
Nice. I am going to see if they will fit a Nikon spotter I have.
https://www.mkmachining.com/product/mk-machining-scope-caps/click on the 'options' for available sizes. They'll custom make what you need for an extra fee.....
My Nikon 82mm spotter has a 3.710 in objective bell. I emailed to see how much a custom cover would cost.
Hunts, what is the outside measurement of the cap cover for your 65mm Swaro spotter? My calipers are in storage and their site shows diameter variations down to the thousandths (which seems a bit excessive, but precision is good I guess).
Tape measures aren't fine enough, just as they're not long enough to measure my, you know.
The sunshade measures 3.170 on the 65. Or do you need the outside of the actual flip-up?
Nope, what I need I believe you just gave me: the inside diameter of the sunshade (or cap cover, or whatever it is called) housing, or the outside diameter of the scope's objective housing. I definitely could have worded that question better.
thanks!
I just reread your OP and answered my 2nd question.
yes, but since they done mine you shouldn't have to pay the setup fee again. Talk to guy named Ryan...
Gotcha.
I read your OP too fast the first time and the "custom" part didn't register.
Thanks!
