So Red dot green dot electronic or tridium looking for 1-6 or 3-9 power range What's the brand you recommend and why
If you want red dot a Burris 3x9 with the German 3P #4 reticle about $250 Burris durability.

If you want both red and green the Hawke Vantage 3x9 it runs about $159...I have a couple for use on night predator calling ( we do that with a red light, and use the green reticle) and for night time pig hunting ( when we use a green light and the red reticle) Have had good luck and service with them, nary a bobble.

Trijicon Credo HX 1-6.

Finally sighted mine in on on my Howa Grendel this morning after agonizing over where it should go. Bore-sighted it at 100 yards because the 50yard range had an instructor and student. Fired one, adjusted to the hole, then one more to my desired POI. Changed my mind and clicked to dead-on. Done. No tapping, no over and back, just click and plunk. Kinda refreshing after years with you-know-who’s.

Also have one of their tritium 3-9s, which is light and compact, but the illumination is not really daylight bright, if that’s what you want. It does magically appear when you really need it in the shadows or early and late. Nice clicks on it as well.
