I just traded an old zeiss conquest 4.5-14 to a guy for a brand new Bushnell nitro 5-20 with the deploy moa reticle. Hopefully get it mounted and sighted in this week. If anyone has or have had one of these what are your thoughts? It's being mounted on a remington 700 chambered in 7mm rem mag
For my preferences, I would have kept the Zeiss. I find the deploy reticle a bit busy for my needs. I think the Nitros are good scopes, especially at the $200-250 prices that they have been closed out at. I just think the conquest is a lighter scope with better glass and reticle.
The zeiss had just plain crosshairs and was almost 20 years old. The nitro only has Hash marks on the crosshairs and brand new in the box
Maybe you shoulda asked PAW before making that trade
Have any other Zeiss scopes you want to trade off?
As far as the nitro goes, I’ve had good luck with mine. Same scope you have with same reticle. Has always tracked well. Many 22 rounds and is now on a 6.5. In it $200 after I sold the knife it came with. Well worth that.
