Couldn't be happier with the overall buying experience at CameraLandNY.
I was in the market for a set a binoculars and had the pleasure of talking with Neil at CamerLandNY.
He was sincere, honest, incredibly knowledgeable of course in optics, but also talked about how an individuals eyes (whether they wear glasses, have astigmatisms, ect...) is so subjective in seeing the differences in optical clarity supposedly between models which I really never considered in my research.
The customer service, as those on this forum have repeatedly stated, was phenomenal and I'll continue to make future purchases from them.

They single-handedly have caused many of us to rethink the way we perceive, "New Yorkers." That's about the highest compliment I think I could give anyone.

Most of my optics over the past 10 years have come from there. I usually talk to Neil too. Great guy! I too share a dim view of New Yorkers (although folks from WA, OR, and CA cause waaayy more trouble in the Rocky Mountains) but CameraLandNY is TOP NOTCH! I love those guy!!

Great guys, all. Never a worry when buying from them.

I was going to try them but they wouldn't ship to my work address. I get daily FedEx and UPS delivery at work and don't trust leaving packages on my home porch during the day until I get home.

If you add your work address as an approved alternate address with your card company we can do that or get "the married guys credit card" (that's one where the bill comes to work so the wife never sees it)

Only those of us that can think for ourselves.

Not too unlike CA, get away from the coast and you find real people.

Just not enough to vote often enough to make a difference.

Sorry to sound negative, but in two instances, I called to purchase, but was turned off by the brusque manner of the salespeople. My experience is probably unusual given what people say here and on AR. (And before you ask…I’m born and raised in the NY metro area so I’m no hothouse flower regarding a NY attitude!)

I talked to Doug Sat 1-8-22....he said a lot of them tested positive for covid..a lot of their folks were in quarantine.....Neil was off...maybe this fit into the equation?

Never had a bad experience with them. They have always been great. Get Neal talking about the 80s and 90s heavy metal era and you will be on the phone for awhile.

They're aight. Some of you guys don't get out much.

Doug and his brother have both been great to me. After the fact on my last purchase he called me back to discount the item further because he found a more cost effective way to package it. I had already paid and he went out of his way to save me a few bucks!!!!!
