my son was recently cleaning the basement of his rather well to do bosses business. he found this scope in the box,looks to have never been used or if so not much, and the boss said he could have it. i know nothing of turret twisting as all my rifles have set and forget turrets from meopta to zeiss to leicas. this one has an illuminated either red or green mil dot reticle and super high both windage and elevation turrets. so, in a hunting situation can these turrets be locked down where they won't move if brushed against clothing or whatever? the center milo do wires are super thin so i don't even know if this would be a decent hunting scope.
