Anyone ever had one of these? Are they worth their salt? Are they as good as the EP or EPL's? Fill me in please if you are in the know. Thanks!
The 4-16x is alot more "friendly" and forgiving. Hint.

I have not tried the Arken. What is your preference between the 4-16 Arken and the Athlon 2-12?

Depends on what you're wanting it for. I have the SH 6-24 and it's longer than the 4-16 by almost 1" but only about 1/2oz heavier., and they're both fairly heavy. The 6-24 has nice glass. The new EPLs are a step up with ED glass. I've the EPL 6-24 and EP5. The EPL 6-24 is lighter than the SH by close to a pound, and sharper glass.. The EP 5 is a big honker, the same length as the SH 6-24 and a bit heavier with that 56mm bell, also brighter and has beautiful sharp ED glass. They're all a good deal. Wait time is the only downside.

have you tested them on a static fixture and tall target? This eliminates variability related to the gun and you firing it. Please post photo or video of the testing

cumsincowboys,

This Rifle shoots formed cases in the .2's,unless the weather is REALLY acting up. Hint.

Boresighted it,cranked a Hasty Trio at 100yds(pic below),shifted it .1 Mil right/.4 Mil's up,locked turrets on said settings and confirmed Zero on 250yd steel, then flogged on KNOWN comeups,in a favorable atmosphere, crowding it's Transonic Slip. It simply tracks and repeats, like it has fhuqking eyes. Hint.

Pardon "tainting" a scope with Live Ammo,as you "Handload" your SuperSoaker with colored water. Hint.

It still stands as the funniest parody video ever done. In my humble opinion.

Now if I could only get Hig to do one on Judman. It would be epic!

Make sure you insist on American made C clamps if you're going to "test" your scopes like this. Or maybe not; now that America is "inconpetitive" you might be better off with China clamps from Harbor Freight.

Static testing: Almost as much fun as actually shooting! Almost.
Dammit guess the ChiComs put a trance on me when the balloon went over, I just ordered a 34mm tubed 4-16… Gonna stick it on my Anschutz first..

Ben
I haven't seen anyone mention it yet...

I hope I am not the only one who noticed the foot sticking out from underneath the sleeping bag, when he opened the back glass on the pickup bed,

or the other body part sticking out when he got something out of the back seat of the cab...

bodies you need to get rid of after testing there Wolverine ?? smile
Still can’t believe nobody made fun of me for not being in landscape.

I suppose it makes it funnier though.
