Variable scope is OK or a 6-8X fixed.

It ate a Leupold 3.5-10X and Leupold replaced it. It is holding up OK, but I don't want to trust it on a non-resident Elk hunt.

Need a scope that will take the recoil of such a light rifle. I also want an exposed elevation turret and capped windage. Maybe 44mm objective.

There are many out there that fit the bill. To many to list, so I wont. I'm sure lots of good advise from folks will follow. But I replaced my last Leupold with a Trijicon Credo. I'm very pleased with this scope. Its worth checking out. Jmo.

I think Meopta made a 6x42 but i cant remember how the turrets were setup. Pretty sure it was in the MeoPro line??

Buy a heavy one. Might help tame the recoil. I’ve shot one of those. It was hard to hold onto. And get one with good eye relief. And REALLY recoil proof. The cool kids like SWFA 6x’s and Nightforce scopes for this duty.

I have a 1-6 SWFA on 375 H&H. I also have a NF SHV 3-10 on a 35 Whelen. Vastly different scopes, but I like them both and, depending on what your preferences are, I think either would be a good fit for your 350.

I don't have a M7 KS, but have an M7 in a Manners EH8 carbon fiber stock, that's under 6lbs bare and just under 7lbs "all up".

I use 2 scopes in Warne QD rings:

Swarovski 1.24-4X sighted for 225s
Leupold VX3HD 2.5-8x36 (pictured) sighted for 200 Horn Interlocks (my whitetail load)



The 1.25-4 works well in the brush as the reticle is very heavy:

IMHO the 8X on the high end works well for the "max" range the .350 and I have no issues staying on an 8" plate at 300yds with it. The low range is fine for stand and still hunting. Both scopes have held up find with the recoil.

I'm prepping for an elk hunt now and will probably end up leaving the .350 behind and taking either my .300WM or my 8x68. As I've set up my M7 now it's a solid 300-350yd set up, but the terrain is going to dictate the potential need for a little longer reach.

I likely own a wider variety of fixed 6 scopes than anyone on here. The best of them all is the Kahles. It is also damn near impossible to find. The S&B is next for glass quality but it is large and a bit on the heavy side. I don’t know if Meopta Meopro 6x is still being made but that is the best glass with ease of getting, or it was a few years back. The Meopta also has great eye relief. Those were my favorite for glass clarity. If you’re putting this on a large game rifle, I simply love the reticle on the SWFA. The eye is drawn to the center, the eye relief is good, it a bit heavy but nothing like others. I use the SWFA on one of my favorite squirrel rifles because the reticle is so fast.

I used my .30-06 last year and got a nice bull.

I want to give my .350 mag a whirl. Thinking 400 yards to setup my drops. BUT really, 90% of shots are under 300. The rifle likes 225gr Woodleighs but only have a few left. It also likes the 200gr TSX and have plenty. Killed a few bears with it. That 2.80 short action really puts a limit on bullets.

I have two NF NXS's 3.5 -15 and love them. I may look into a 2.5-10 that was mentioned.

I hear ya. I wasn't really worried about bullets fitting in the 2.8" box, as long as they were making 225 Partitions, of which I only have a few left. I'm going to bring mine along, just in case we end up pushing through timber.
