Anyone have experience with this scope?
Have a rifle that I want to mount a low powered optic on, really like how the eye relief is quite long, 4.4 inches.
And the price is something like $100 cheaper then a leupold vx freedom.

Anyone?
I have a Bushnell AR Optics LVPO and like it quite a bit. No experience with the 4500, but I have read some good things about them.
Check the eye relief at all magnifications. That was the one issue I’ve had with all the 3###/4### series scopes I’ve tried: eye relief not anywhere near as advertised, and shrank wildly from base mag to high mag….I’ve seen as low as 1.7” measured……unusable for intended purposes (on some) for anything recoiling more than a 223 or going prone. I have not tried the latest iteration. If they have good eye relief and eye boxes, and the reticles are heavy enough for purpose, they’re probably worth looking through.
I have experience with other models in the Elite 4500 series and have found them to be reliable and excellent value. You need to look through both scopes and compare the glass, to my eyes I think the Leupold is a little brighter and crisper but that comes down to individual preference.

If the choice is between the Leopold Freedom and the Elite 4500, in my mind there would be zero doubt I would happily choose the 4500 over the Leupold not only for reliability purposes, but also for customer service reasons.

On bushnell's website they say the eye relief is 4.4 inches. That's probably at 1 power. The leupold vx freedom 1.5-4 has 4.2 to 3.7 eye relief per their website.

Not able to look through scopes, basically any kind of sporting goods store is around 2 hours drive from where I'm at.

Where I am. I have the AR Optics that tops out at 8x. Get over 6x and it is very hard to stay behind. I wish I had stayed with the version that tops out at 6x.

No help on the 4500 but I am not at all disappointed in the brightness and clarity of the cheaper AR Optic.

I wouldn't be scared of the 4500 at all.
Higher powered 4500 scope are great
