I bought a Swarovski Habicht 6x36 A scope at a pawn shop. I have not found much info about it. I think it is fairly old but is clear. Can anyone tell me anything about it?
You got the best. Only thing that compares is the S&B fixed. These scopes are extremely clear. I have some of the 4x and have sent them to have them refurbished by their US service center. Quick turn around and very little, if any, cost involved. Have fun.
I have an old Swarovski catalog from 1989. According to it, your scope is an A-line (A for American) model with a 1" center tube, FOV 21 feet, weight 11.5 oz , adjustments 1/4" clicks at 100 yds.
I saw two this weekend at a gunshow, 8X56 for $750, serial 803245, and a 3X12X56 on a 700 mountain rifle in .270 for $650. Tried to buy the rifle and scope but the poor shape of the rifle scared me about the scope. Any opinions about the prices, the scopes were both very clear, no scratches on the variable, and minor ding on the fixed.4 plex reticles. Both should be available at the next show, could buy then if ya'll have favorable comments.

jlin, Does the catalog have the eye relief for that scope? I have a newer PF 6x42, with a 1" tube with an eye relief of 3.5", a little on the short side. Also picked up a 8x56 from a Campfire member with the 1" tube.
