Any of you gentlemen have any experiences to relate regarding TC pistol scopes? It appears that some of the old ones were may by Bushnell. I am looking at a few and could use some advice. Thanks.

Bushnell, like TC is a trade name in optics. They both buy from another mfr(for the most part-Bausch and Lomb is an exception). then put their name on it. So some of the scopes may have been imported by Bushnell, but I doubt if they were made by Bushnell. TC has used different importers over the years, so it would be impossible to tell you who made a specific scope unless you specified exactly which one it was. And that would be close to impossible. It would probably suffice to say that the TC scopes of old were made by one of the large Japanese scope mfrs. then trade named to TC.

However I do think at one time that Burris made some of the TC pistol scopes. And they were pretty good ones. I am not 100% positive of that. But I believe it to be true.

I sold them at one time. And my information came from the Burris rep. Tom.

I have 3 of their scopes. I don't know who makes them, but they appear to be on a par with a Leupold VX I or something like that.
