looking for feedback on this scope. Good, bad, whatever.

I know the eye relief is only 3.5, but that's not a biggie for me.

Anyone have one with the elevation dial? How does the scope track?

Thanks,

JM
Its a zeiss, buy with cofindence! I have 4 and they all track perfectly. I do not have target turrets if thats what you're asking so I cant comment on that.
I should add that my eye sees a little more light gathering with the 44 vs the 40. The 40 is already impressive and the 44 is a little better.
I've had two, currently have one. Both were/are great. My pick of mid price scopes. Have hunting turrets on both, once set I haven't had to mess with either.
I"ve one at the moment, and when funds allow I'll have more. Have a few of the 3x9 because for just over 300 you can't beat the value.

I have never gone to the 6.5x20 because the 4.5 provides much more correction in the box than the bigger one....
Have (2) 4.5-14, (1)3-9, and (1) 6.5-20; love them all. Never had a problem with any of them.
I have 6 of them and most of them replaced luepys. I like luepys, just not as much as the conquests at least with my eyes. YMMV
I've got one with their target turrets on both windage and elevation and think very highly of it. It's mounted on my Stiller .260 and was mounted on a .257 Wby before that and on a .308 before that. I don't really know what else to say about the scope. It is just really nice, tracks well and the image is excellent.

have the scope w/target turrets its great for me, its on a 7mag
holds zero tracks right on, would buy the same scope again in a minute
Got (1) 4.5-14x50 and (2) 6.5-20x50 , all 3 wear target turrets. They all track perfectly and I can't find another scope for the same money that compares with the Conquests. Love all my Conquests and by the way, all are on hunting not target rifles.
I have had several Conquest's. Great scopes. I have a 4.5-14x44 with a target turret on the elevation turret. Had it put on last summer, but did not use it. These scopes have always worked great for me and the optics are superior. I have decided to sell this scope to fund a S&B for another build I am doing. If you are interested PM me.
I have two 4.5-14x44s,two 4.5-14x50s, and a 6.5-20x50. I wouldn't take any Leupold in trade for any of them.
Ia m not an optics slut, but I have one and love the thing. Plus its sucked up 400 rounds of full house 300 rum loads without a hitch. I will be buying more of them.
One other comment. This scopes absolutely spanks a Leupy 4.5-14x40 I have. Much better scope.
JM, Conquests track great. Optically excellent. Aggressively priced. Win-win-win.
I have the exact same scope on a custom 7STW. It is the only scope that I have ever used that I 100% trust it's tracking. The rifle I have is VERY accurate and when you move it up an inch it prints an inch higher as it should. I through testing know where it hits at longer range at what turret # and when I move back it to standard (2"high) it always prints there..
Some scopes you adjust up an inch and they move up 2 inches and an inch right..
Oh and the optics are very very good...
I've been using one for a few years. It spent some time on a Sako 270wsm and has been on a Sendero 7mmRemMag for the last couple of years. It holds zero well but doesn't track the best. It's not terrible but noticeably worse than some of my other scopes. The eyebox is huge and the plex reticle leaves a large thin center great for target shooting. My 3x9x40 Conquest does not have the tracking issues but the plex isn't quite as fine as on the 4.5-14x44. Overall I'm very happy with both scopes. Other than size/weight I prefer them over the vx3's.
