My buddy Dan dropped off 149 300 Win mag shells for me to reload this morning and asked me if he had told me about his Zeiss binos, I said no. Told me he rolled his truck out west and the binos took the brunt of it all, broke them right in half, he duct taped them together and went on his merry way, course he sent them in and called them a few weeks later asking hows it coming with my binos, they said they received them but wont be getting any in for 4 months(8x30) I think he said, when he told the girl he needed them very soon he asked if he could upgrade to the next power level and pay the difference, she told him youre not going to want to pay what the difference is, cha ching, phone rings an hour later, girl talked to her super and he okd to send Dan the upgrade at no extra cost, Pretty sure he said they were $1400 binos, so this is what he got, http://www.midwayusa.com/product/985732/zeiss-conquest-binocular-10x-56mm-roof-prism-black, his old 8x cost him around $500, now doesnt that really suck? Thats what I thought, too, LOL
Who do they think they are not sending back what he had!

The customer service agent probably spoke understandable English also?

As long as we're unloading here, that Camera Land place sent me my new Ziess with brochures and hand outs covering every question I had. Even after they already answered them, for nerve!

To top it off, delivery was sooner then I was expecting.

I hope those companies that think they can get away with going over and above customer's expextation, get what is coming to them!

This is a karma situation, I'd send them back and make them downgrade before something else bad happens. ha!

It took over a year to refurb my old 10x40s some years ago. I wasn't real happy at the time frame, but then again what I got for glass once again, it was worth it in a way.

I need to call now as I have a scope I need to send in for a stupid stunt of my own....
