I recently gave my leupold Yosemity Binoculars to an out of state friend who invited me to bow hunt with him for mulies and white tail. He needed some decent glass and only had an old pair of cabela's binocs. I wanted to give him an appreciation gift for hosting me for about 5 days and felt this was the most appropriate gift.
Bottom line is, I would like to replace these binoculars and am wondering what you would recommend that is comparible to the leupold yosemities. I wear glasses so eye relief is important to me. Thanks for the input. John
Spend a few more bucks and get these, Quality Japanese made bins

Those look like a lot of bang for the buck.
specs say a 19.5 mm eye relief, is that good for someone with glasses??
You forgot a zero whistle

What's wrong with another "Yote"?
Unfortunately, Natchez only sells to dealers in Alabama. Tried to order the nitrex binocs but they won't take an individual order. Guess I,ll move on to other options
Do you have a friend in another state who could order them for you?
RatherBHuntin,

I have some decent, to me, Columbia Timberline 8X42. They are roof prism, fully multicoated, BAK-4, waterproof, fog proof, nitrogen processed, excelent long eyerelief, twist-up eyecups, protective molded case, textured armor for excellent grip, COOLNECK quick release neck strap.

I purchased them for my brother who went one time for about four hours. They're as good as new. Maybe someone here will chime in about how good they think they are. Anyway I will sell them for $65 including mail. The box looks like it would cost about $10 to mail.

Ringman, PM sent.
Here is a page with a variety of binocular at different prices. You can also do other searches there.

I'd just buy another pair of Yosemities. I fact someone stole mine from my truck when I left it unlocked briefly. I ordered 2 pairs just to be safe. I haven't found many better, even some costing 3-4X as much.
6x or 8x yosemite?

6x, imo just replace them and be done. Thats a killer little inexpensive glass.

at 8x, you could start shopping around and posing questions like you have. LOTS out there. The bino world is booming with new stuff... some of it terrific in the under 250 price bracket.

That's weird! I've been ordering stuff from Natchez for Years! In fact, I just got a new flyer in the mail from them the other day.... And I'm not a dealer, either.
I'd get another pair of Yosemite's. We did a family trip to Africa in June so I needed additional binos and bought 3 pair to add to the 1 I already owned. Worked fine for everyone.

The best cheap binos I've ran were Bushnell Trophy 10x42. I like them as much as the Monarchs I had and actually use them on hunts often. I was a bit surprised to say the least.
I have been using a pair of 8x42 Zen-Ray VISTA binoculars. I got it for $129 after reading its comparison with Vortex Diamondback or Bushnell Excursion. For the money, it is probably the best in that range
