Hey Guys,

I have a vintage (1950's) Bausch & Lomb scope mounted on my Win. Model 70 and need some help. When looking through the scope you can see all these small thread like pieces. I mean it is like looking through a microscope slide at a bunch of amoeba's swimming around. I was considering sending the scope to Bushnell but the warranty info say's they reserve the right to substitute another scope instead of repairing your scope. I really don't want to change scopes. Does anyone have suggestions or know of a scope repair person/company?

thanks in advance

Brian
Have you called Bausch & Lomb? Even if they no longer work on scopes, they might be able to refer you to someone. You might also google "rifle scope repair" and see what comes up. There is probably fungus growing in your scope, and it will be rather costly to repair. Don't be surprised if nobody wants to fool with it, or will demand a healthy deposit just to get started.
