I'd like to add turrets to a 4.5-14x44. Has anyone else done this?

What do they mean by retrofit required on the 3rd line of pictures? Do they mean you have to send it back to zeiss?
Send it to Zeiss for a "target turret." I think it is $80 returned to you for one turret. I have two Conquests done by them and they work flawless.
I have probably a dozen with turrets, but messed up and got one without by accident. It is on an encore 35 whelen for primitive weapons season and it has mils so I am not going to sent it back.
Are the short turrets pictured in the third row a direct replacement for the turrets on target models? I would want them in hunter's MOA not drop compensating.

Too easy. Send it to Zeiss. Talk to Karen Bookout in customer service. No need to go with Kenton unless you want a BDC knob.

Good luck reaching her. Left her a message about 3 weeks ago and never heard back. Did reach someone else in CS and sent two in for turrets last week.
I spoke with Karen yesterday and the scope is headed to them today.
So what did she tell you?
