Any thoughts on the Conquest 2-10x42 HD5?

I called Zeiss customer service today regarding some dirt / lint on a lens inside a Conquest 3-9X40 that I picked up on closeout last year.

They wanted to replace it with a Terra, but I was concerned about the eye relief based on some threads I read in this forum. The CS service lady said no problem and that they would replace it with the HD5.

I would trade it for an HD5 .I've owned both and I would rate it better optically than the older 3X9 Conquest.
