Have any of you used a Nikon Illuminatied Reticle scope?

Any feedback will be appredicated.

Bob
Bob, save your $$.

The rheostat leaves a lot to be desired. Not able to set the illumination low enough to not interfere with your eyes natural night vision, so the brightness of the illuminated reticle washes out your target.

S&B Zenith is the reigning King, but for considerably less the Leupold VX-R works extremely well.

Another thought, if the intended application is for night hunting within 150 yards, digital NV scope works pretty damn good for just under 500. Take a look at the Sightmark Photon XT line. Pair it with an IR illuminator and you're in business...

Bob if you're interested I have a NIB, never mounted, Nikon ProStaff 5 3.5-14x50 with illuminated reticle for sale. They sell for $579.99 everywhere on line, I'm asking $450 for it.
Thanks William.

RM-I am looking for the 42mm obj if I get one. Thanks though.
