All,

Looking for good advice on these, especially regarding their brightness.
I keep hearing good things but I have never handled anything but a Crossfire 2 straight 6X, which I thought was no brighter than any of the other inexpensive scopes I own.

Need something that will extend my hunting time, for modest money ($200 tops)

Can anyone pass along their real world experience with the DB HP?

Thanks,
Kragman
They are on sale at Cabelas and I was wondering the same thing. I have a BLR in 358 that I'm wondering if it will stand up to the recoil.

Actually have two 2-8's & one 3-12..all DBC's

Scopes are super clear & crisp....SF will go down to 20 yds...

Click adj's work well...scopes are well made with nice fit & finish

VIP warranty..which I never needed on any of my Vortex scopes..

pic shows my RARR in 300 BLK...other 2-8 is on S&W 15-22..

3-12 is on CZ 452 17M2...all bought from CameralandNY

Cabela's would be my last choice for the retailer.....

Cabelas has already backed out of their sale (it was $179 in my cart last night)
The search is still on
Midway just sent out email they have them on sale.

beat me to it.
$174.99
Just bought 2. One in July & the other 2 weeks ago. $245 @ OpticsPlanet. One sits on a Tikka T3, the other a HW95 air gun. They are air gun rated so that says something. So far, so good. Was thinking about getting another? That Conquest sale looks good, too. Too bad for me that Diamondback HD just went on sale.
I've got one on the way for my Kimber huntsman 22. Got a 3X12 when Sportsman's Warehouse had then on sale for $199 and seem like a good buy for the money.
I have one and like it. I can't think of another 2-8x with side parallax adjustment and Midway's price is hard to beat.
I just bought one and mounted it on a TC inline .50.
So far I am very impressed with the clarity and quality.
The power, side focus, elevation and windage adjustments all feel firm and crisp. I have yet to fire the inline and sight in but seems like a great scope for 175$.
