My new VX6 2-12X42 is in and now I need to get some Talley's ordered. Going with the aluminum ringmounts on a Post 64 Winchester 70. I am wanting lows. Do you think lows will clear with a 42mm objective? The barrel shank is a bit longer than factory.

According to the leupold charts that is right on the border......I think I would go with medium in case you want scope covers.....

Lows will barely work, be real tight with scope covers.
