I noticed some small bubbles coming out of my old Vari X windage adjustment yesterday morning and just got off the phone with Dean at Leupold, explained the situation to him. He already had my history pulled up and saw it went in the end of August last year to change out the reticle. All i told him was my first name, never gave him any other info! Said that shouldn't happen and a seal went bad, told me he was going to send me a shipping label and to send it back on their dime and they will fix it. Confirmed my e-mail address and sent me the UPS label.

All total maybe 6 minutes on the phone and the first time i have ever had an issue with a Leupold product. Leupold has to have some of the best customer service i have ever dealt with. There are more expensive scopes out there but i'm a Leupold customer for life.
I had great service also, thats why I only buy leupold. plus made in usa
They have lots and lots of practice fixing junk.
Leupold won my business forever through this same level of customer service. I think for the price point, you cannot beat the quality. Leupold even warrants repairs on damaged optics.
I have about 20 Leopoldo and will buy more. Have used their customer service twice and it was great.
I have many...and while like most Ive never needed their service it's nice to know it's their should the need arise. They are pretty much the only company I buy from any more
All the mk4 I have had last about 3 to 5 thousand shots then back they go. Most don't get 1000 before the die.
They have exchanged several. so everything was not lost but it gets old sending them back over and over.
I have had good luck with Leupold!!
Received my scope back Monday. Less than 2 week turn around. Good as new! also it's a 70's vintage that has been hunted hard and there was nothing wrong with it before I sent it in for a change in reticle. Pretty dang good they will work on a 30+ year old used scope and still guarantee it like new!

That's a heck of a lot of shooting and probably tough for any scope to stand up to even a $1500-$2000 scope. What's the price and warranty policy of a comparable competitor? I don't keep up with other glass but vortex and zeiss seem popular here. How much is their comparable scopes? Will they warranty them no questions asked even if you aren't the original buyer?

Not trying to start a pissing match between brands. Just wanted to share some positive customer service that seems to be rare these days!
Fred lll. sorry about your problems with Leupold What scopes do you find to be the most reliable?
