For those who actually have a Leupold scope with the "Post and Duplex" reticle in their possession.
I need a couple questions answered, if you will:

Is the thin portion of the reticle(i.e. the crosshair) just as thin as the cross hair in Leupold's standard duplex reticle?

My understanding is the thicker(outer horizontal and verticle post) portion of the reticle is a little thicker than the standard duplex(i.e. more like the heavy duplex). Is that correct?

Thanks in advance,

Leftybolt
From the measurements that I got from Leupold the post and duplex is the same as a heavy duplex without the wide top portion. I don't have one yet but I am planning to get one in my VX3I in the future.
The center wire is as thick as a heavy duplex and the posts are not as thick. A heavy duplex is roughly 3 times thicker than a standard duplex. All of my scopes with the post & duplex reticle have the center spacing between posts a little closer than a heavy duplex.
