I like how bright Leupold glass is but want a different scope that "tracks" better and as bright for dawn and dusk hunting situations. I would also like it to have a bdc out to 500-600 yards. Any suggestions. I'm thinking Burris, Vortex, or possibly a Nikon 308 M?

I'm almost 100% sure this is the same scope as the now discontinued Zeiss Conquest. Meopta made that scope for Zeiss. Cabelas was selling them with Cabelas badges on them, but no longer. I have an original Zeiss with standard duplex and bought 2 of these when Cabelas closed them out last year @ $250. Very good scope.

What rifle? Weight? Barrel length? Etc? Hunting ... hunting what? Cost ceiling?

I also just bought a Tikka T3 CTR Stainless but in 260 Rem. I put a Bushnell LRHS 3-12x44mm in Burris XTR Signature rings on it. If you want illumination Bushnell is making the LRTSi 3-12x44mm that looks useful.

I’m going to pick up a Tract Toric for my Rem 7 308 if they go on sale this Friday

I would get the SWFA SS 3X9 HD while it's on Black Friday sale. I think the HD glass is very similar to VX3. No need for BDC when you learn the MILL system. That scope is FFP and the reticle will work accurately the same at any power unlike a BDC which changes at every power. Much much better system when you get use to it. You have a rock solid rifle capable of long range.I would want to pair it with a rock solid scope capable of long range as well. Nothing else even close to that price will be as accurate in tracking.

Check out the Zeiss with the Z-600 reticle.

I can only tell you that I use a S&B 1.5-6x42 on my Steyr Scout rifle in .308. Great for pig hunting in twilight conditions.

This. My son has the 3x15 on his 308. The 3x9 is a better hunting scope,we have two .All are rock solid. He shot a 190" mule deer at dark last week.Worked great. The 3x9 has smaller, stiffer turrets that won't get accidentally turned, and a little thicker reticle.

I have a T3X CTR in 308. It wears the the SWFA 3-9. It's a perfect combo. Wide FOV, rock solid turrets and good glass. It's a steal at $450 with SWFA sale going on.
