I know there have been request in the past for pictures of Leupold's #4 reticle and I just picked this scope up that has the #4 reticle. Just posting for reference-

I have a Leup 3x Big Bore with the German #4 on the way, looking forward to receiving it!

My buddy’s 2.5-8 w/#4 added by Leupold looks nothing like that. His is way heavier. While yours looks great, his is damn near unusable.

I’ve got a vx6 with a #4 firedot that is a lot thinner in the posts than that...

Well I guess maybe there have been changes over the years?

That looks much better than what they show on the Custom Shop site.

I put a VX-II 2-7x33 with the #4 on my grandfather's sporterized SMLE .303 Brit.

I have a 1.5-5 with the #4 and I'd like to get a #4 in my 2.5-8 but I can't force myself to remove it from the BLR.

I have a 3-9 x 40 with the same reticle, plus electronic dot in the middle. The dot is very small, so it does not get in the way. I got it from CameraLand.

I purchased the scope used, I assumed it was added from the custom shop?

My FX-II 3x Big Bore arrived yesterday from the Leup Custom Shop with the German #4 reticle:

Nice #4 reticles. I like them a lot, it's a shame that the custom shop charges so much for a reticle change.

Better off to buy new from the Custom Shop with a reticle you want than to have a reticle change in a scope you're sending in.

That's a great hunting reticle.
