Sig Sauer Kilo 1200 Laser Range Finder - 09/30/18
I am looking for a new rangefinder to replace my old Nikon 440. It has been flawless for all the years I've used it, but would like to be able to range out to 1000 yds to try a little long range shooting. I won't be doing a lot of serious shooting at longer ranges, using it mostly for bow hunting. It's hard to find any land flat enough here in my part of KY to shoot 500-1000 yards. I see the Sig Sauer Kilo 1200 Laser Range Finder for sale for $153 and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. My Nikon was listed at 8 x 20mm and could be a little trying keeping it on target at 400 yards. The Sig is listed at 4 x 20mm and was wondering how usefull it would be for 500+ yards? I would think with it being sold by Sig, it would be of good quality for the price, but I've been fooled before. I've just bought a Ruger RPF in 6.5 CM and a Nikon FX1000 scope and am looking for the most bang for my buck at this time. Thanks for any input or suggestions on other comparable rangefinders as the Sig.
