Who makes a good one?
All I've used is Swaro adapter, it came with the 15X binos. Kinda spendy if you gotta buy it separately.

Had another that wrapped around either side barrel, those binos were Leica with the rangefinder, the laser came out of the center pivot so the Swaro unit wouldn't work. It went down the road with the binos.
There's a basic one, Carson Tripod Adatper for binoculars with the thread between the ocular barrels. There is also the Nikon Binoc-U Mount Tripod Adapter #820 which has a hard base that connects to your tripos head and then the unit wraps around the binocular with 2 strong velcroe straps
MacGyver it......

Look really hard at the outdoorsmans stud and adapter if your binoculars are threaded for a stud. Stout, simple, low profile, well engineered, easy to use, never seen anything close

Bog Pod universal mount
Outdoorsman
Any pros or cons to the Outdoorsman Bino Hand or Leica Stabilite ?
Other than the cost/to what ya get ratio?
I have the Leica Stabilite. Works great for my 8x32's all the way up to the 15x56 but was expensive.
Bog Pod makes an attachment for their system.

I'm looking for a solution also and that one is leading. Playing out the scenario where a game animal is actually spotted and it's grab and go time I don't want deal with a doohickey screwed into the front of my binoculars.

The outdoorsmans adapter doesn’t take longer to engage or disengage than anything else. The stud stays on the binoculars, out of the way, and it clips quickly into or out of the adapter. There’s no unscrewing involved.
The Bogpod is very good, the flat supports are better than any of the center post types, for stability.
It is a matter of physics, if you use any of these, you will agree.

Berlebach makes another one, made of wood with a strap, will handle any binocular. The Nikon model, is more flimsy

I have all of these.

I would go that direction.
Been using this one for years. It's solid and pretty dang awesome.

I have one of those. I also have one of Precision Rifle Solutions saddles. I use the saddle more than anything. It’s versatile and dynamic. I’ll lay the barrel of a long camera lens or a binocular, or balance a rifle in it. It’s super handy.

For a binocular with a 1/4-20 thread on the hinge, I like the Vortex Uni-Dapter.

Thanks for all the replies, from budget MacGyver to high-end Swaro. Jordan, I was not familiar with PRS but they seem to have some great stuff. And great prices.

Have you used any of their rifle cradles?
Outdoorsmans has quite a few tripod adapters. This was offered before Leica made their Stabilite. It is small and very lightweight. While I don't use it all the time, it is so small and light it usually comes along in the pack. It clamps directly to one barrel of the binocular for a solid and dependable attachment. I attach the adapter plate to its underside. It was the best option for the Leica 10 x 42 rangefinder at the time and still works well.

I haven't. On my comp rifle I’ve gone to an Arca mounting system, and for hunting I use the Triclawps, although the PRS cradles look like a very good, affordable option. I just haven’t tried them.
Well, I've got one on the way, I'll let you know how i like it.
I'm deeply disappointed that you didn't want to come out and carve up a piece of Corian and buy a bungie....
Buy a bungee?? Heck, I thought you were givin 'em away???
Been using the Outdoorsman ring adapter on my Leicas for several years.

You’ll like it. That’s the saddle I was referring to.

You know, you could make some less creative people feel kind of dumb, sometimes, maybe.

I really like the Outdoorsman binocular stud set up. It's not cheap, but neither were your new binoculars.

Neither was that "Once in a life time hunt" or really big animal you're pursuing!
Well, I went with the Meopta's and they are threaded with a $12.99 mount that Doug sent. Not for naught though, the thread gave huntsman a chance to strut his stuff. You should see his crank-up front rifle rests.

I think they based "MacGyver" on huntsman.

Don't be cheap. Buy the Outdoorsmans.
