Hi. I have an old Remington 600 in 350 Rem mag and it came with a side fold weaver mount. I’d like to replace it with a one piece Leupold mount and went onto leupold site and clicked on all the options (make model scope size and finish) and the mount I need is # 50005 which is for the Rem 700 short action. I just wanted to verify if this mount will fit the model 600 before i ordered it.

Most Rem 600's only have one hole D&T on the rear receiver ring. The posts from the thread above lists some options for you and your Rem 600..

leupold DD for a XP-100......

Any 3 hold base for a model 7 will work. I have a DNZ mount on my 660.

The Mount Finder was correct there. The Remington 600s will take our 1-pc Standard, Dual Dovetail, and Quick Release (STD, DD, and QR) style bases for Remington 700 Short Actions. These bases have a single screw in the rear, so will work even if your rifle is only drilled once in the rear of the receiver. Hope this helps!
