Has anyone tried one of these scopes? I see that Cameraland has them on sale, and they look pretty good.

Thanks
Keenan

I had an Artemis 3.5-10x50 with the #1 reticle. It was a fantastic low light scope. It was a very nice scope. Its heft and objective size were the only reasons I sold it. I'm just not a fan of 50 mm objectives on hunting rifles.

I have had a 6x42 Artemis 2000 #4 for ..gosh over a decade. Best thing on it is the adjustments. Wish all were like these. As for glass it was every bit the equal to the much touted Leupold M8 which had inferior friction adjustments. I will say I am surprised there are still some for sale as they were replaced ( as far as I understand) by the Meopro line which would understandably be a step up. While I think you would like it- they are solid - a bit heavy but not 'noticeably' so - I would think they would be marked down a bit more given more recent influx of competitors and options.

What you DO get is first tier glass ( same used in some zeiss models) , outstanding adjustment, rock solid scope, good brightness and nowhere on it will it say made in China. ( these are czech republic)
