Hey gang,

I just put a 1-4x20 leupy (non-adjustable parallax) on my .375 Ruger African. When I shoulder the rifle the reticle moves around inside the scope with my eye movement instead of staying "focused" or steady on target. I know this is a parallax issue I just for the life of me cant remember how to go about fixing / adjusting it out. I haven't had the scope to the range yet or outside, just looking through it in the house.

advice from the more knowledgeable?

I believe you have to move the objective lens. If you're looking at a near target indoors, it is not surprising that you are noticing parallax. The scope.is likely set to be parallax free at 100 yds. Try it outside.
Standard Leupold parallax setting for centerfire scopes was always 150 yards. Your "test range" is too short. Take it outside where you have 100-150 yards to play with, focus it for your vision, then check it again from a solid rest shouldered as if you were shooting. With your eye centered behind the scope, I think your parallax will be gone.
Yeah all my hunting scopes go lulu in the house. I have 4 scopes with AO, the rest other than a dedicated rim fire scope o bananas or drive me there trying to focus them inside the house or inside 50 yards.
I notice that when I put a 1-4x20 on my pig gun.
