What other scopes are out there that have a simple duplex reticle and exposed elevation (only) turret?
I have a new in box Leupold Vx-freedom 3-9X40 with CDS for $250 shipped if you are looking for one

You can simple leave the cap off the Nightforce SHV with the Forceplex reticle. It’s an easy to use dial.
Nikon has their XR turret systems. They weigh a lot more than Leopold tho and cost almost as much

Zeiss V4.
S&B will put a small elevation dial on their Klassic scopes (maybe others I'm not sure). It's compact and low profile, much like the CDS. It's limited to 3.3 mils which is fine for my hunting even with a 100 yard zero.

A lot of scopes can be CDS types with a turret installed.
