Where do they get all the goofy names for optics; Kaspa, Veracity, Passion, etc? Sounds more like marital aids than hunting gear....

sounds more like a hemorrhoid preparation because of cranicalrectalmetamorphism
They get them by scraping the bottom of the barrel, all the good names are already taken

Yep. The legalese in getting a name over the goal line these days is a real PITA.
There's a central office for naming scopes and cars, with a list manufacturers can pick from. Am kind of surprised some new scope wasn't named Prius, Escort or Impreza before the car makers got them.

There's another office with a list of subdivision street names--such as Quail Hollow Lane or Linda Vista Boulevard. Have seen both in more than one Montana subdivision, and Montana is a long way from any wild quail. Linda Vista (cute or beautiful view) is normally found in subdivisions surrounded by overgrazed Angus pastures.
New from Protuberant Optics, the 72mm Tumescence. Penetrate the darkness.

Lol. My keyboard is now covered in a mix of green tea and chewed up banana, but I ain't even mad about it.
Or do like Swaro does and just give them a Model name Z3,Z5,Z6I etc , the rest of the alphas didn't get that memo though.
I never understood the Whiskey theme lol.
I’d go with something easy to remember and simple to identify its main category for use.

Scope 1 (3-9x40) Lightweight. Multi use from rims to CF at close to moderate yards

Scope 2 (3.5-12x42) Lightweight Mult use from rims to CF out to 600 yards

Scope 3 (3-18x44) Moderate weight. Dialing turrets yet capped. Medium to Large CF...Close to 1000 yards

Scope 4 (6-24x52) Heavy weight. Dialing turrets uncovered. Medium to Large CF... Moderate yards to Longrange

Add an (I) after the scope number to indicate “illumination”

Add D-ML-MO-T for type of reticle.

Except for the Scope 1 (3-9x40) All scopes have side parallax.

Company is called ScopeX. Small line card with duplex, mils/moa or Target dot reticle.

Build each scope to the swfa internal standard. Glass quality from Japan in the Leupold Vx3, Zeiss Conquest v4 or hd5 type clarity zone.

Limited, yet simple...Keep the price point between $450 for Scope 1 to $1250 for Scope 4 and the rest priced in between.

Swfa does a really good job with their scope line...I would only improve the optic clarity but coupled with their internals integrity. iMO, it would be a slam dunk. 😎

I think you lot are being very biased, gender challenged flamingos have a right to work too.

I appeals to drunks, and those tactical types that think they are special
because they know bits of the phonetic alphabet.

Don't forget Bravo Charlie Delta Echo Golf or X-RAY Yankee Zulu lol.

I guess it's the same as car manfacturers. I'm sure they have a hard time coming up with catchy names that sell that haven't already been used.

10-4 and thank you Sir. The 75th is the backbone. My dad in those days was a Combat Engineer (18Th). Did 3 tours. He passed away 6 years ago to cancer and is in a better place now.
