What method do you guys use to prevent moisture from getting to the ocular with those grooves? No issues with the 6x and 10x.

I don't have one, but understand the layout & the problem.

First thought was, a dab of modeling clay around the OD of the eye piece before sliding on the flip up. Then thought about plumbers putty, as it doesn't seem to shrink as it doesn't seem to shrink.

But I don't see a problem with clear silicone. Not a terribly hard to remove & clean up if need be.
I electrical tape all my flip ups to the scopes themselves. Keeps them from rotating or sliding off. I guess as a bonus it keeps the water from going down the grooves.

Thanks. I had some water intrusion issues. Granted it was over an inch of rain that day and I covered a bunch of miles. I will take the crap out of it. Nothing like flipping the flip ups only to see a wall of fog.
