I ran a search but couldn’t find much on this scope. Anyone using it? I’m thinking about getting one while they’re on sale. How’s the eye relief, tracking (it’s more set a forget but has enough windage and elevation for dialing), field of view and reliability?
I have not used, or even seen one, but my understanding is the eye relief is very short.
Thanks, my searched turned up pages of SWFA Black Friday. Ignore this thread now!

But several here have reported that it's not been a problem for them, and that tracking has been spot-on. Maybe not a one-size fits-all solution, but certainly worth a look where it fits the need. I especially like the low-profile eyepiece.
I have one on a 6x45 and one on a 25-204. Both Rem 700’s and both light kickers. I have no problems, but they are mounted far back. Seem repeatable and sighting in was exact.
I have one on a Contender 223 and it works perfectly.
My question is how these are holding up on rifles with 308/270 level recoil. I want to try one, but the 3-9 is really nice, just heavy.
I’m torn . This is the closest thing I’d want made by SWFA, but the eye relief is not good.

It’s just a few ounces heavier than anything you’d compare it to and it really works. What does a 3-9 Leupold weigh with turrets? 15-17 ounces? These weigh 19.
Also read some of Forms posts. He has thousands of rounds on these scopes.

No issue with 108s. I’ll let someone else try a lightweight 308/180 combo though ... I suspect the scope would fare better than the brow.
I have a couple of these. One with a plex reticle and another with a BDC. The BDC one has only been on a 223 AR, since the reticle is designed for that. However, the original plex reticle version has successfully survived a couple of stints on a 280Rem boltgun and on a 458SOCOM AR without losing zero and without hitting me in the eye. I suspect a lot of that comes down to stock fit, so YMMV. Admittedly, round counts were not very high since I moved onto testing other scope, but the plex reticle Ultralight has about 60 280Rem rounds and 150 or so 458SOCOM rounds (I was doing load development which can be tricky and expensive with that 458). The rest of its life it was on a 223. Not sure how many rounds that was.
Either way, I am pretty happy with how they have been performing so far. I would probably not put it onto a 6lb 300WM, since that would have a fair chance of hitting me in the eyebrow, but short of that I have not had any issues.

Thanks.
I I was thinking of the BDC version. Since it is second focal plane I was just planning on picking a magnification that worked with my particular load since the spacing will change with power adjustment.
How is the eye box? Is it an easy to acquire sight picture?
