Anyone have any experience with the Bushnell Trophy Bone Collector Rifle Scope 3x9x40 mm? whats your opinion on it for a budget scope?

Like lots of things in life, I'd not take one to Africa, but I'd hunt my back 40 with one, and have.
Decent for the money but eye relief is lacking. I think they make a model that has better eye relief, at least I know the Banner comes in two different eye relief models.

I put a TrophyXLT, without the hinky logo, on a Howa mini in 7.62x39 for my grandson to use. So far, so good, and no chasing POI while sighting in. Have a 4-12 and a 1.75-4 as well. Never an issue. The most I ever paid for one is $131 for the 4-12AO. That same model has been on my son's 77/22V since 1997, again without issue.

What heavy recoil might do to one, I don't know.

Check with Doug at CL on a Burris FF2 and Natchez for discontinued Weaver V7s. The 3-9 Trophy I bought was $70 from CDNN.
