I was surprised when I was fondling a 4-16x50 that it’s built in Japan not China. SW has them for $299.
Listed weight is 23 oz and it seemed lighter....

It's not a particularly attractive scope, but it seems like a lot of scope for the money. I am going to lay my eyes on one.
Just spent a while running down all the reading I could on Riton. There's not a lot out there and nothing I would consider close to a real test. SW online doesn't have them on sale. I am going to try to make it to mine this weekend ans play with one.
They definitely ARE butt ugly. LOL
They are not nearly as ugly in person plus they are fairly light and compact....
The only scope in the market which is 100% hands-on QC ed at least to my knowledge. Every single one. Also if you return for a fix you NEVER get the one you sent in. You get a new one regardless. I sell them at SW so I am somewhat familiar with their history. Also, 100% veteran-owned.
Binos are pretty good, too.

Eye pieces all look like they’re 50mm.

I noticed that when our SW sold out. The next nearest one still had one but they are a 100 mile round trip.....

I just found 4-16x50 30mm on sale for $269 and ordered it. I am going to be pissed at you if I don't like it.
