Pretty excited about this one:

FFP, Mil, Capped windage, zero stop elevation, illuminated, 23oz, made in Japan.

I'm guessing with the MSRP at $1400, they'll be available around $1k in the future.

Trijicon just announced a bunch of other new scopes... the names are pretty dumb but the scopes look promising.

I like the looks of the 2.5-15x42 too but it is SFP, which is not my preference

Looks good!

Thanks,

Cool

Did some quick recon on the site and noticed a 3-9x40 also w/retail of $799.

Heavy sucker. Wish they made a 2nd focal plane normal reticle 2.5-10x36 at about half the weight.

Very nice. Looks like a super optic.

Why they don't make a simple, strong and lightweight hunting scope is beyond understanding. They have the idea, just need to put it into action.

What do you wish they made that they currently don't make?

Seems to me they've had simple strong lightweight hunting scope covered for a long time.

Also pretty interesting. Not a fan of the tree's on the reticle, but not an absolute deal breaker either.

A few i’d like to try out, though mostly bread n butter 3-9’s in #4 and the old mildot they already had. Would be more excited if shed 2-4 ounces at current price, or bit cheaper at given weight, but so it is these days - big bottom scopes is what people assume is normal. Am scope heavy so be a while.

Yawn. I see they are moving away from tritium and offer fewer models. They just re-named the Accupower lineup to the new Dumb name they are using.

A lot to like about that!

2.5-8x32 size, smaller power adjustment ring and keep tritium.
Focus on weight, and stay slimline as possible for low mounting on lightweight rigs.

I own a few Accupoints. They could be slimmer and lighter.

I looked at one of these today in person.
Was the MOA version.
Turrets felt OK, clicks were positive yet a bit sloppy.
Heavy for its size but relatively compact.
Illumination was poorly executed in that it did not equally light up the reticle as it should, and it bloomed at the high setting.
Hard pass at MSRP of $1399.
This is just my opinion.

Thanks for the hands on report Hutch. Too bad to hear about the illumination and turrets being less than great. I'm going to keep my eyes out for one and hopefully get hands on. Definitely won't be paying MSRP, but I wouldn't do that even if they were getting the best reviews possible. I'm still intrigued by size, features, etc. Looks to check a lot of boxes for my personal preferences. I may be getting one of the last years models accupoint 1-8 lpvos, as I need a good midrange AR scope, and found a good price. I'll update here if/when it shows up in a separate thread.
