I’m looking to get one of these for coyote hunting and would like to hear real world reviews from you all that have one or the other or preferably both. What you like or don’t like about each one. Max distance I would need would be about 400 yd with 90% of my shooting 250 or less. ATN I can get for $599 and the Wraith for $399 so is the ATN worth the extra $200?
Jason that is a heck of a price on the Wraith. Looking at one as well.

I have the Wraith, and paired with a good illuminator, it's very good. The stock illuminator is better that nothing, but you really see a difference if you add a good one.

I have the Coyote Cannon and 66LRX both. http://www.sniperhawglights.com/category-s/1831.htm

A friend of mine has the ATN, and while it works he cusses it for "freezing up" while hunting.

I've shot some video with my Wraith.. Hope this helps.

Hog doesn't show until around 1:40 in the following one...

As a side note, the Wraith is much clearer with what you are seeing, than what it reflects on video.

I'm still learning. And I've learned to to turn the illuminator brightness up when videoing, even though I can see fine.

Real life distance I can see is much further than my capability to shoot. I can clearly see over 1000 yards. But have one mounted on a 7.62x39, and another on a .308 Win. wink

You may want to check into getting a shooting tripod when hunting at night. It clamps the rifle and provides full range of motion for shooting.

I have the Bog pod Deathgrip. It's a good option a lot of NV hunters are using.

Thanks. I have a tripod and a predator tactics coyote reaper light that I’m going to buy the IR bulb for. Been hunting them for 3 years but just not much luck. I think the lights are the problem so going to try NV

Where do you find the Wraith for $399?

My son would like one for that price. (I ain't givin' him one of mine... wink )
I just ordered the Wraith from Midway, $499 -10% right now on optics.
I need to test it out on coyotes as soon as it arrives.
I'm new to NV too...
The Wraith is going to be updated very soon to include audio capability and eliminate the blurriness and lag that occurs when scanning. That's why prices are getting lowered.

ATNs digital NV models including the Pro have intermittent issues with the unit locking up, needing firmware updates and their magnification range is way to much to produce a clear image at night. Anything above 9x is very grainy. Additionally their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Having used both Wraiths and ATN Pro NV scopes on friends rifles along with Pulsar digital NV scopes I prefer Pulsar digital NV scopes. Pulsar seems to have better image, less issues, a longer warrantee and better customer service.
Thanks. I’ll have to look into Pulsar as well
