Put this on a CZ 527 - 223. 20-25x it is very unclear/ out of focus. Is this normal with a low cost scope and is there an adjustment for it? I'd call Mueller, but they aren't taking any calls at the moment.
If adjusting the ao doesn't help the clarity, it is probably the scope. I have owned one of those, and did not keep it long, not a fan of the Mueller, just my opinion

I had one that had to go back. It looked like a looking through a sandstorm in low light with the illuminated reticle on. They had an issue with mold in the lenses at one point. They replaced it under warranty after a bit of discussion.

It's a real bummer when a fellow mounts a scope expecting everything to go well and then has problems. That CZ 527 is a nice rifle. May I suggest you set this scope aside until Mueller will take your calls and rectify the problem. You are quite probably into a replacement. There are reasons why low cost scopes are low cost. A whole lot of us here have had our problems with low cost scopes. If you can afford it that CZ 527 usually does a great job under a quality scope.

Many of us here would give Doug at Camera Land a call and talk with him. Let him know what you'd like to accomplish with the CZ and he quite probably will have answers for you. That's where I'd turn.
