Can you experts give me some good variable or fixed scopes that have a parralex adjustment down to 25 yards. All I can find is scopes down to 50 yards...
Air gun, pellet gun scopes are a place to start.
Now, however anyone feels about Leupold is not the subject, but some AO V2/II's went to 25, as well as some V3/III's. They also used to offer air gun models that adjusted lower than 25 yards. EFR - extended focus range.
Leupold EFR will do it. I have two, 3-9’s. ER is short, but with a rimfire who cares, assuming a rimfire.

I have a Burris rimfire/air rifle 4x that has AO down to 10 yards. I don't think they are made anymore.

My Burris 3-9 compact rimfire adjusts down to 20 yds.
Don't see it listed in their current offering, though.
Their Timberline 4.5-14x32 has the same 20 yd adjustment:

A lot of Athlon scopes are 10m, vortex razor HD LH, bushnell 6500 2.5-16. Just to add a few more
My VX-2 Leupold 3-9x33 Rimfire EFR scope adjusts down to 10 meters (10.936 yards) which is a pretty common red squirrel eradication range for me around the cottage. When I was sighting it in for the first time at close range, I thought my eyes were going bad because of the blur. Then I turned that front adjustable objective down to the 10 meter setting and the parallax was gone and the image was clear again. It might be more than I want to mess with for faster shooting, but a VX-1 2-7x28 Rimfire will be on the way for my less deliberate .22 shooting on another rifle. That one should be factory parallax set to 50 yards. For some reason Leupold chose to discontinue both of those rimfire scopes.
Any nikons go down to 25?
Got a Bushnell 5 x 20 Nitro right here on my desk I picked up recently from Camera Land which goes down to 10 meters...
and also have a Bushnell 2.5 x 10 that is on a Remington I was getting ready to go over to the range with that also goes down to 10 meters, with a 30mm Tube...its a Bushnell Forge...
The Nitro also has a 30mm Tube.
Try looking at Hawke Optic's. Here's an example of one that goes down to 7.5 yards.

You can send an older scope to them, or buy a new one directly from Leupold and have the parralex set at any distance you like. Including the Redfield line as well.
This thread has been really helpful.
The Weaver Grand Slams have side focus from 25 yards, and the Weaver Classics have AO from 50 feet. Both are great scopes if you can find them.
I will most likely go with the Leupold EFR 3-9. Can’t find one to look thru, so wanted to know how clear are these scopes?

I have an older one of these and it has nice bright view.
I wish Leupold still made their 6x34-A/O or their 6x42 A/O hunter benchrest models.
