I'm in grad school at the University of Texas at Dallas. Over the last couple of years, there's been a lot of discussion and controversy about the specter of school shootings and RKBA issues. Those who advocate concealed carry on campus have been marginalized and even ridiculed. Somehow, the UTD Intelligentsia can maintain their "anti-fight back" stance while also noting that there is not enough being done to address the growing problem of attacks on female students. The University newspaper (The Mercury) has consistently had an anti-gun stance despite allowing a few pro-carry people to post or write articles for them. I have noticed that the professors they have allowed to write anti-gun articles look great on paper but when you see them in real life, are some of the nuttiest, most liberal professors one can imagine.

This is their latest article addressing violence on college campuses. Check out the response I wrote to it at the end.
great response
That was incredible I think you need to post that in as many places and publications as possible! The coddeling of children and young adults that result in an inability to handle life on all levels is one of the great down falls of modern america.
