Figured I'd go straight to the best audience. I picked up a pristine Colt Army Special, 6", .32-20, 1922-vintage (after Colt upped their metallurgy game). Throat/bore dimensions are a skinch more generous than "standard" for .32-20 - .3145 throats, .313+" groove diameter. Looking for a mold in 115gr, give or take, that drops a bullet cast of soft-ish tin/lead alloy, of .315" that'll stand a touch of sizing, or a solid .314". Either way will work.

Figured I would see if someone in the hive here would have one before I go having Tom at Accurate molds, or someone else, cut me one.

I've already turned a custom expander spud for use in the RCBS universal neck expander die that I employ for oddball cast bullet seating. The darned RCBS die set I have sizes the necks and expands necks as if they want me to use .311-312 bullets. I guess they assumed usage with jacketed stuff and "modern" toleranced guns. Maybe a Cowboy Action Pistol die set is in order, but my homemade expander should do the trick. Gotta think about this some more. I hate cramming an oversize lead bullet into tight necks, no good comes of it.

Wish I had a spare one for ya.

The NOE 115 Keith throws a nice, fat, beyond 315 bullet with WW metal, and I'm looking at getting another bronze 4 cavity for production sake. It's a solid .314, about .3145 after spring back.

I don't know if they have a Lyman 3118, but that's another good design. I think most of them list to throw at least .315 with WW metal.

No help on the mold, but one of the Lee universal expanders would get you whatever mouth diameter you were looking for. That'd be an extra step, though. I have a couple of them I use for cast bullet rifle loading.

I've got an LBT that might work for you. I think all I have are already sized and lubed. You are welcome to try some if you like.
