Thanks I picked up another 3 boxes. I ordered 3 boxes awhile back. I hope with 6 boxes it shoots in my rifle…….
This Norma stuff seems to be really good stuff so far accuracy wise in a buddy of mines 308 browning x bolt He bought 10 boxes or so if it when I cloverleafed some groups with his rifle
My bride to be used the Norma Whitetail loads last year in Africa. Load was 7mm-08 140gr. One shot kills with excellent bullet performance on Kudu, Cookson Wildebeast, Zebra and Impala. It's your typical cup and core but accuracy out of her Model Seven CDL was excellent. All bullets recovered and each shed around 40-50% of their weight.

I like it for its purpose and the price was right. We ended up that route as the rifle was a new caliber for us and it was peak ammo shortage. Turned out to be great stuff she will continue shooting at whitetails this fall.

Palmetto state armory had the norma 150gr softpoint .308 on sale today for $15.99 per box. Out of stock now though, for which im partially to blame

It doesn't make one bit of difference out to 300 and 400yds.
What brand of brass do they use on these? Never shot any and wouldn't want to assume Norma brass.
Info on their site says Norma brass.
Can't speak to the Norma Whitetail brass, but the Bondstrike brass has the Norma headstamp.
As an aside, the BondStrike at $40 / box that Norma is currently running 'aint too shabby if you don't handload...

Who cares what he thinks, best served on ignore.
Norma folks have some bright people in their business office.year and a half / 2 years ago when all the domestic stuff started flying off shelves they jumped in hard. As RP ,WW, and Fed disappeared Norma Whitetail made it's appearance on shelves around where I live. Might have been around awhile prior to the panic I dunno but they sure ramped up their production at reasonable cost to supply Norma Whitetail line in 30'06,308,270 and 243 at around 26 bucks a box. As many times as it was the only stock they could get I was amazed they didn't sell it for $40+ A BOX. I load all my own but I wouldn't worry 2 seconds about how Norma ammo would work. The company is first class...mb

Just a follow up and shout out to AEAMMO. I did order .308 Norma ammo from them. They were super responsive to e-mails, order was smooth, communication and shipping was super fast. I would not hesitate to use and recommend them.
