Just recently back from our DIY aoudad hunt out in far west TX. Felt good to be back in home turf territory and chasing sheep.
The ranch we hunted has no roads, no amenities, and certainly no high fences. It's all on foot and on your back. Camp was the back of my Toyota and the sandy wash at the base of the mtns.

We went 3 for 3 and we all able to take some great rams home.

I cant speak for the other guys (although I know Zac was using a 300 rum)

But Kilimanjaro was using his sweetheart of a 300 wsm loaded (by yours truly) with 180 TTSX.
