Starting to think about next year already. I've got 6 Antelope preference points for next year and looking for advice on where to spend them. I've been able to take 5 bucks over the years in easy to draw areas but nothing overly big. I'm looking for an area that has good potential for bigger bucks and lots of area to hike with a backpack. Thanks for any advice.
This hunt selector can be helpful you just have to tweak the search function a bit to get it to work:

The unit selector works nicely and you can see a lot of great info on each unit (percent public, odds for non residents & PPs necessary, success rates, etc) just play with it.

6 PP is a Nice problem to have!!
where are you coming from and what part of the state do you want to hunt?
Fell free to PM me. I can probably give you some good advice. I am sure 44270 can too.
I have 6 PP now for WY too but it won't be til 2019 before I get a chance to go though frown I was gonna do a unit smack in the center of the state last year that had a lot of potential but it fell through. My FIL drew the same hunt with 2 points on accident and killed a beautiful goat.

I've got 6 for deer and elk too... decisions decisions
I'll be coming from BC Canada, through Montana. I've hunted area 16 near Buffalo 4 times including this year. My favorite thing to do is leave the truck in the morning with backpack and return at the end of the day. I'm looking for an area where I will have a good chance of hiking away from crowds and hopefully be able to look over some good bucks. Its already a 20 hour drive from my house to Buffalo but if I have to go further south in Wyoming to get a good area then thats ok. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
